Extending Your RV season
There’s something about August that makes it the best month of the year, isn’t there? The days stay hot but the evenings cool off, leaving the mugginess back in July, where it belongs. On the Bruce Peninsula, where Caframo’s offices are and where our products are manufactured, RV life is still in full swing. The roads are full of all types - from behemoth motorhomes to pop up trailers to hippie vans. As they make their way north, through Wiarton to Tobermory and Lions Head, we can’t help but think of the people behind the wheel when we wake up on the first Saturday of August to a chilly 11 degree morning (51 for our US friends) – a fully 15 degrees cooler than it was the Saturday morning prior. We hope they packed their duvets, some sleeping bags, or our True North heater.
RV Expertise reviews products for RV enthusiasts and recently ranked our True North as one of the best. They point out that you could have a pre-built heater, but an electric heater makes a lot of sense – especially if you’re custom building your rig, which more and more people are these days.
Our True North heater has been around for decades. It’s a tried-and-true classic in the marine industry, so it makes sense that the RV market would adopt it as well. It’s one of the only heaters on the market with a steel casing, and its low profile make it one of the easiest for storage. Plus, it’s got huge heat output from such a small package. And importantly, we back it with a 5 year warranty which we’re pretty sure is unmatched from any other space heater on the market.
If your family’s like so many in our neck of the woods and have saved your summer vacation for the best month of the year, consider packing a True North heater for your excursion. Keeping cozy can keep your RV weekend trips going deep into the season. If you wake up to frost on the ground, you’ll have crossed over to the hardcore RV enthusiast RV Expertise is geared towards
