When browsing online stores, be sure to look for the name behind the brand. Caframo, a Canadian-based company, is the first inventor of the Ecofan. We made it so well that many other companies have tried to recreate our design at a lower price and, unfortunately, lower quality.

If you are shopping on Amazon, and the listing has blurry or grainy images, very little content, and does not say that it is shipped directly by Amazon, please be wary. If you are also browsing Amazon’s Warehouse section for a discounted product, “like new” does not mean “new,” and you may be purchasing an Ecofan that does not come with our warranty package.

Do Your Research

One of the many questions we receive from our customers is, “How do I know which Ecofan is best for me or my loved one?” That’s a great question and one that we can help you answer now. 

When buying an Ecofan, there are three essential factors that you will need to consider. 

1. What is the size of the room where the Ecofan will be placed?
2. What is the operating temperature of the stove?
3. Is the stove powered by gas or wood? 

Each Ecofan comes with an ideal operating range- the stove must reach that operating range for the fan to work as it should. They are also designed for varying room sizes- don’t fret; we have provided a helpful table below:
